EDGE ATHLETICS

The team selections for the spring 2013 AAU season are now complete for the Senior Division (15u, 16u, 17u). All team rosters are available on the AAU tab (Click Here). In all, over 100 athletes tried out for all of our age divisions. The large turnout has made the selection process very difficult for us. In an attempt to accommodate as many athletes as possible, we have created two teams in the 15u division, North and South. Although one of these teams may be stronger than the other, both teams have very competitive athletes.

Coaching assignments are not yet finalized. The teams are listed with coaches as “TBD” and will be assigned this week.

Practices for all teams will begin this upcoming week.  Practice times will be posted on our website by this evening.

If you have been selected for one of these teams, you need to secure your spot by, getting measured for a uniform, paying for your uniform, and fulfilling tuition obligation. If your uniform from last year still fits, you MAY be able to use it for this year.  However, the uniform has been discontinued and teams with new athletes on the roster may have to purchase new uniforms for this year. These requirements must be completed on Wednesday, March 13, at the Poughkeepsie Day School, between the hours of 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Tuition and uniform fees can be paid by cash or check (made out to Edge Athletics Club).

Those athletes that wish to participate in the development program can also register on Wednesday.
