EDGE ATHLETICS

The St.Martin 7th Grade Travel Team enjoyed a successful season reaching the New York State Archdiocesan Championship this past Saturday at Dominican College.  St. Martin’s, coached by Craig Wallace and Steve Strom, fell to a very talented  team from Westchester to finish the season as the Archdiocesan Runner-Up with a final record of 30-4. Their accomplishments include 4 tournament championships, won the Dutchess County CYO Division  with an undefeated league record and was the Upstate Archdiocesan Champion defeating Rockland County 51-50 in OT at Lourdes.  In the final game of the year, Justin Etts (Edge 13u East) led the with 22 points while R.J. Edwards (Edge 13u West) chipped in with 15. Other Edge Program players on SMDP include: David Wallace, David Fadden, Matt Fields, Dan Viani, and Alex Strom.
